As the dust settles on the news that sent social media agog on tuesday, Nigerians await the unfreezing of their mavros- the currency used in the much loved MMM scheme, a system that has helped millions of Nigerians; the rich and the poor, the employed, self employed and unemployed cushion the effects of the recession. It becomes increasingly important to identify the evil that has bedevilled the system and created fear in the mind of Nigerians leading to the mavro freeze - the first of its kind in the Nigerian version of the MMM system.
If MMM Nigeria paid millions of Nigerians from November 2015 till date without complaints from anyone and even now that mavros are frozen cash is still changing hands then what really happened?
Howbeit that MMM Nigeria survived amd grew from a handful of participants to 3million participants inspite of bad publicity?
How did MMM survive despite the creation of copycat sites offering outrageous rewards to participants in other to derail the members of the beloved MMM system?
Have the participants of MMM remained true to the beloved scheme because of the well grounded ideology the system preaches, the quick reward they get for helping others or for personal reasons; these are questions that no one can answer but it is evident that MMM has done something right that has made Nigerians stay true to the scheme and even make payments to other participants that have requested help before the freeze notice was announced.
Its high time we begin to see the media for what they really are and Nigerians should really begin to ask themselves who controls these band of vultures that orchestrated the freeze like they did in South Africa and and zimbabwe.
Is it the bank or the government, are they self styled executioners of the system or is it all for the purpose of making a few mite from individual clicks on their online platform.
Certain question beg for answers that even the media vultures can't answer - Why destroy what has helped millions of Nigerians stay above water during this trying times?
Are the mites a few outlets stand to make worth more than the smiles on the faces of millions of MMM Nigeria participants.
People should learn to understand that the media can make simple pictures complicated just to ensure that their platforms get the attention they want and as such MMM became the story that sold their pages.
It is obvious that even now that the freeze is in action, these media vultures are bent on going for the kill; as such it becomes important for the participants of the MMM system to show solidarity in the face of such adversity if they want the system that has helped them to survive beyond the now.
Research shows that PANIC is the only tool that the media, the banks or the government can use against the MMM system, but this is mainly known to the top members of the system known as guiders who go through an online schooling process. This as such the MMM administrators should make known to all participants to enable them overcome the fear that media vultures create with the unfounded trash they publish to drive their market.
It is impressive to see that even in the face of uncertainty, MMM Nigeria participants are not phased and have continued to provide help on their respective MMM dashboards.
The hashtag #ISTANDWITHMMM has over 5million hits since 12th december, 2016 despite that MMM participant base is about 3million, this obviously is a good sign and shows faith in the system which is bound to grow upon resumption to normalcy come january 2017 despite the very good job of media vultures.
